My work explores the dynamic interplay between perception and reality, engaging the viewer in an active dialogue with the artwork. By manipulating the relationship between the eye and brain, I aim to evoke sensations of movement and vibration. Through the deliberate use of color, geometric shapes, spatial relationships, line patterns, and repetition, I create compositions that shift and transform as the viewer moves, making their participation an essential component of the experience. Using layered sheets of plexiglass as my canvas, I introduce a tangible depth to the work, blurring the boundaries between the physical and the perceptual. This layering invites the viewer to navigate the space within the piece, transforming static elements into a constantly evolving optical experience.
